- Baldwin Street, known as the world’s steepest street.
- A lookout over Dunedin, normally Signal Hill or an alternative in poor visibility.
- A guided walk through the upper Botanic Garden, including the aviaries and themed garden areas.
- The University of Otago area, with an optional stop where timing permits.
- Free time around the Railway Station, Toitū Otago Settlers Museum or Chinese Garden area.
Departure and return
The current public information lists departures from the Port Chalmers wharf at 9:45am and 10:30am. If a ship arrives late, departure is adjusted around passengers leaving the ship. Return options vary depending on the departure and whether guests choose to remain in central Dunedin.
