Exploring New Zealand is owned by Andrew Rutherford, the company’s main guide. After years working in transport and tourism, Andrew moved with his family to Port Chalmers and started the business to share Dunedin and the West Harbour area with visitors and local groups.
The company’s work spans cruise-ship tours, educational transport and private charter journeys. The common thread is straightforward: clear planning, practical vehicles and the value of speaking directly with the person responsible for your trip.
